HI RAY
HI TO ALL

the new version of v6 is totally different betwen v5.25

i have all Ray mods, others mods, my mods and code some changes develop on 5.25 php pro bid version.

what is the best way for upgrade the site...

a) start on v6 and add mod of 5.25
b) start on v5.25 and add new code of v6
c) all mod by Ray will be upgrade to v6 and guidelinees
d) all old best mod build on 5.25 is dead on 5.25 and v6 is a new start

i just use txt editor, compare editor, different editor

any suggestion is must apprecite

99.95% of all the Mods will require a rewrite. A compare will not do the job.

Once the bug patches are out, I will begin to code up their replacements.

it's very impossible work on v6 from 5.25, it's totally anothers software.

Well, more or less that is correct. The new probid version (6) is PHP (as was prior) but its more organized and operationally, more sound, by using whats generally defined as Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Despite what others may want you to believe (because they cant program it) its actually the best way to go, and perhaps is the greatest thing which could have been introduced.

Granted, the down side will be the 'non working' status of prior modifications, but in the long run, its a mere stepping stone away, and will lead us to bigger and better things.
