Okay I am having a problem I am in admin setting up the gbase to report to google it asks for for

Google Base Feed Filename= Listings.txt

now i went to google and set that up like google asked so I am guessing thats what I was supposed to put there.

then it asks for

Path to Google Base Feed File

now in the box the mod says enter it this way

/home/yoursite/public_html/admin/feedinhere okay my site name is

www.want2bid.com and the feed in here I am guess is file name so i enter

/home/www.want2bid.com/public_html/admin/listings.txt/ then when i click

on gbase feed submit and this is what it says

Warning: fopen(/home/www.want2bid.com/public_html/admin/listings.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/want2b5/public_html/admin/templates/gbasemod.tpl.php on line 197

Usually instead of your site (www.yoursite.com) you use your user name which usually is the same as your home directory or whatever your Hosting provider named your directory at.

For example:

/home/want2bid/public_html/admin/feed

Make sure your feed directory is writable (chmod 777).

actually your error message tells you where it is looking for the file:

/home/want2b5/public_html/admin/feed

This mod will tell you what your path is, amongst other things....

this is why I love this forum because it is done by the same person who makes the mod's normally get a pretty fast response thanks

mmcled,

you hit the nail right on the head thanks ... although looking at it that should of been evident but as soon as i see something wrong i immediately go into panic mode. All is well now..
