automessage on registration

when a new user sets up and account this mod is supposed to email the user but for some reason it does not email the new user.. I am thinking by reading the mod the best i can that it emails the user after they have confirmed thier account but I dont have my site set up that way ... as soon as they are done signing up thier account they are registered is that the reason why the new users are not getting the message??

and 2nd

in the admin section it says Enter the user id of user Message is from and I try to edit it and it just keeps going back to 0 how do i fix this???

1. Designed to work to send the message after they confirm their account via the confirmation email.

2. Make sure you have run the required queries and made the appropriate changes as needed/where needed.

well it works if i set my site up so they have to confirm thier email address i guess that couldnt harm anything..... but the 2nd problem is in the admin area the first thing it says enable the auto message mod the second question is
Enter the user id of user Message is from <<<<<< i try to change it but it keeps just defaulting to 0 how do i fix this or what is supposed to go there???
